Kidney Cancer (Wilms' Tumor)
SYMPTOMS. First signs are often an abdominal mass that is usually discovered
by the child's parent or doctor. There will be fever, pain, appetite loss,
nausea, vomiting and blood in the urine.
CAUSES are unknown at this time. The cancer actually begins before the birth
of the child. It lies dormant, then it usually shows up before the 5th year.
TREATMENT. Consult your doctor.
.Treatment responses are often excellent, from 50 to 90 percent cure rate.
